A Transplant Recipient’s Story

In 2001, he was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

There is no known treatment or cure for the disease, which slowly destroys the lungs… and can be fatal without a transplant.

Mazzone says his faith eased his struggle with the disease.
