As students who are participating in the I Am. Are You? Campus Challenge pass through their student union this week, they are faced with the pressing question, “I Am. Are you?” Participants have held registration drives throughout week three of the Campus Challenge. University of Illinois and Northern Illinois University are leading the challenge this week with some of the other schools not far behind. Way to go!
The Students for Organ Donation chapter at the College of DuPage sent in photos and an update of their latest registration drive efforts you can read here. Students were lured in through an offering of receiving an extra hand, foot, eye or teeth-all yummy, gummy candies, of course! In just one day, 71 students registered their decision to become organ donors.
In addition, the Mattoon Journal Gazette ran an excellent story on EIU’s efforts this week that you can read here.

p.s. We happened to catch some more footage of Morgan D’ Organ out on the Campus Campaign trail in early October spreading the word about the importance of registering as an organ/tissue donor. A couple students couldn’t resist showing their support as registered donors and Morgan was pretty elated as well! Check it out…
