We know…you’ve been waiting around patiently, fingers tapping, anticipating the BIG announcement. Even this guy is getting tired of waiting to hear who won the I Am. Are you? 2007 Campus Challenge …
We’re proud to announce that Northern Illinois University stole the show with a total of 484 registrations! A big congratulations to Hillary Kirschbaum and her Student Nurses Organization at NIU for working so hard on the effort. Maybe it was this article last week that ignited the winning charge. In addition, Monmouth College won the second category for registering the largest percentage of their student body (9.3 percent). Excellent work by Kristin Bickett for her work on Monmouth’s campus.
Everyone who participated deserves to give themselves a big pat on the back. We easily surpassed our goal of 2,000 registrations with all 20 schools bringing in a grand total of 2,511 registrations!!!
Fantastic job from all participating schools and student groups that lead the efforts on their campuses. We’ve posted the total registration results below and you can catch some pictures from the registration efforts here.
Though our inaugural Campus Challenge has come to an end, we continue with our push to meeting our goal of registering 3.5 million Illinois residents in the state’s new registry by April 2008. We recently pushed over the 2.7 million mark, let’s keep it up!
Stay tuned for another college effort this spring. Great work and congrats to NIU and Monmouth.
