Another grand event taking place this Saturday! Be sure to tune-in!
Gift of Hope’s African-American Task Force is hosting a televised organ donor awareness/registration program on Saturday, April 12, as part of its 10-year anniversary weekend celebration. Held in partnership with the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Illinois transplant centers, the program will encourage viewers to register as donors. During the event, Rev. Jesse Jackson will be reunited with Jonathan Clark, a young man who received a liver transplant with Rev. Jackson’s help—20 years ago.
This exciting program runs from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and will be aired live on WJYS-TV. Attend and help fill the Rainbow PUSH 1,500-seat auditorium! Rainbow PUSH is located at 930 E. 50 th St. in Chicago.
